For those who have been wondering, "Youngblood” is about 3/4 of the way finished.🔜 I’ve managed to write a few more characters into the mix and am working to line out everyone’s story for the ultimate finale❗
It’s going to be a shocker! 😲
While Tyler struggles with the call of his Maker and the monster😈 he believes he has become, Stone’s past slams a brand new set of problems into his relationship with Alana. So much for happily ever after.💔 Meanwhile, the Redlands Pack Alpha, Trey Damiani, is on a mission to avenge his sister’s death, her killer, the same rogue who created Tyler Youngblood. 🔥Trey won’t allow anyone to stop him from seeking revenge, even if it means coming to fatal blows with the Edgewoods Alpha, Jeremy.
Will Tyler learn to accept the nature of his beast?🐺 What future exists for Alana and Stone if she is unable to forgive his betrayal?😡 Are Jeremy’s days of being the Edgewoods Alpha numbered?

It was mid-afternoon when everything changed for Jeremy, another chapter in his life opening like a brand-new book, the pages crisp and unblemished from never having been touched, much less read. Pounding nail after nail into the lumber, his mind wandered during the thoughtless task, thoughts ranging over the past and what the future might have to offer. The present moment came roaring back only when the scent touched his nostrils, a light but sweet flowery fragrance combined with a touch of cotton candy and female. The hand holding the hammer stopped abruptly, falling to his side as he twisted his body toward the door.
Unintentionally holding his breath, the noise of the radio faded away, nothing remaining to disrupt those few seconds when the startled green eyes beneath the bill of the ball cap met his. Her lips parted only slightly, but he could hear the sharp intake of breath across her teeth before Shane came from the other room, blocking his view of the girl entirely. The moment interrupted, the world sprang back to life, the rudeness of the blaring radio suddenly grating Jeremy’s nerves. He reached over and hit the button, shutting it off completely. He felt anxious, a nauseating feeling deep in his stomach for no reason he could understand.

"There are some scars we choose to carry, Jeremy," she uttered, "and only you have the power to decide when it's time to let them go."
He shook his head. "I'll never forget."
The older woman laughed, a light-hearted sound in the midst of the seriousness of the conversation.
"It isn't about forgetting," Ida Mae said, "it's about moving forward and seeing an opportunity for what it is. You deserve another chance. Why are you the only one who doesn't see that?"
