The key to accomplishing any significantly large goal is to dissect it, analyze it, then break it into several teensy, weensy baby goals. For one thing, most babies aren't intimidating, unless of course , it's a baby Mozambique Spitting Cobra, or Poison Dart Frog, or maybe even a Pufferfish, but that screws up my point,
so let's not go there. Secondly, accomplishing even the smallest goals wield a super-positive self-confidence booster all by their little lonesome. With each small victory, ambition ignites and incentive scorches the soul until you have no choice but to give in, hurling yourself full throttle into the next 'baby step'. Standing back and looking at the 'big' picture, its easy to see how all of the small steps are necessary, even if they appear to be pure evil. Each one prepares you for the next; you're better, stronger, and more assertive as you move forward....you'll need these attributes in the future. (And, forward to the future is where we all want to go) It's difficult to not want it all, RIGHT NOW, but it just isn't feasible without the baby steps. You can't skip those and be successful... you can try, but it will never work. You just can't do it. Embrace all of the tiny, itsy bitsy baby steps. Take a breath and take your time. They are all leading you to somewhere magnificent! © RC Woods and rc-woods.com 2014.
